Anthony J. Latona is a partner in the Firm's Litigation practice group. He has devoted a substantial portion of his practice to complex commercial litigation, including business disputes, contract and construction litigation. He is the primary litigation counsel for a Western New York college. He has acted as local counsel for numerous insurance companies in defense of commercial and construction litigation matters. He is the designated Western New York counsel for a major German national insurance carrier, defending on its behalf, business disputes and products liability claims. He has represented a major utility company for 14 years and has broad experience with personal injury claims arising from work-related accidents and accidents related to the delivery of products and services. Mr. Latona has served in various capacities representing public authorities in business disputes and related legal advice and consultation. He represents a major international developer on a variety of contractual and risk assessment matters. Mr. Latona has substantial expertise in the representation of clients in contractual disputes in various arbitration and mediation forums. He has, in conjunction with the American Society of Civil Engineers, lectured on the topic of Safety on the Construction Site. Mr. Latona has lectured extensively on a broad range of business and litigation topics to professional organizations and associations. He serves as an adjunct professor in Masters Degree programs at two local colleges wherein he provides instruction on business transactions and international law as well as ethics.
