Ralph L. Halpern Named to MusicalFare Theatre Board of Directors
Ralph L. Halpern, Senior Counsel, is a member of the Firm's Business and Corporate, Financial Services and International Trade practice groups. His primary practice includes mergers and acquisitions, securities law, administrative law, general corporate law, customs, immigration, copyrights and trademarks. It also includes a wide variety of litigated matters in the commercial field as well First Amendment rights and class actions. He has been counsel to public and private companies doing business in a variety of fields including food, alcoholic beverages, vitamins, insurance, waste management, professional sports and steel. He has advised newspapers, television and radio stations with respect to media concerns. He is listed in Who*s Who in America, Who*s Who in American Law and Who*s Who in World Jewry. Before rejoining Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP in 1986, he had been a partner in the Raichle, Banning, Weiss & Halpern firm for the preceding 26 years.

In April, 2008, Mr. Halpern was a Visiting Professor of Law in Blagovgrad, Bulgaria, teaching American Legal System and American Corporate Law to students at the Neophyte Rilsky South-West University. To prepare for this position, he attended a week-long conference in Salzburg, Austria presented by the Center for International Legal Studies in January, 2008. According to Ralph, "This is a once in a lifetime experience. Not only to teach law but to teach U.S. law to foreign students in their own university and comfort zone. I'm sure I learned as much from them as they learned from me."
