Vincent O. Hanley, a partner in the Firm's Business & Corporate, Real Estate, Economic & Land Development, and Financial Services practice groups, represents owners, developers, lenders, and borrowers in sophisticated real estate transactions involving commercial and industrial properties. In addition to handling acquisitions and sales of real property, Mr. Hanley assists clients with all other aspects of commercial real estate development, including the negotiation and drafting of architect agreements and construction contracts, leasing, zoning, subdivision, economic development incentives, and negotiation of easements and restrictive covenants. He also represents both lenders and borrowers in various types of commercial financing transactions, loan workouts, and commercial foreclosures. Mr. Hanley also handles a wide array of real estate litigation, including real property tax assessment review proceedings, land use and zoning litigation, eminent domain proceedings, partition actions, quiet title proceedings, and commercial lease litigation.

Mr. Hanley has served as a guest lecturer for the University at Buffalo School of Management, the New York State Bar Association, Lorman Educational Services, and various business groups on a broad range of real estate-related topics, including economic development incentives, easements and licenses, and commercial mortgage foreclosures. He is also a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys, and represents a number of area colleges in real estate financing and development projects.

Mr. Hanley served on the Board of Trustees of Hilbert College from 2003 through 2012 and is a past Chair of the Board. He currently serves on Board of Directors of the Catholic Health System Continuing Care Foundation and the Board of Directors of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Society for Buffalo and Western New York. He was listed by Business First in its 2008 edition of Who's Who in Law, and is currentlylisted in The Best Lawyers in America (under the categories of Real Estate Law, Litigation-Real Estate, and Land-Use & Zoning Law, and Litigation-Land-Use & Zoning, and by New York Super Lawyers (under Construction, Real Estate & Environmental Law).
