Daniel J. Gocek is an associate in the Firm's Employee Benefits and Tax practice groups.   He concentrates his practice in the areas of tax planning and consulting, including Federal, State, Partnership, and Corporate Taxation, as well as employee compensation and benefits matters, including executive compensation, pension, 401(k) and other qualified retirement plans.

Experience:

Mr. Gocek participated in the University of Virginia Appellate Litigation Clinic, where he handled a case in the Fourth Circuit regarding the validity of DNA evidence related habeas corpus claim. He also served as an intern for the County of Monroe Conflict Defender and for United States District Judge David Larimer in Rochester, NY. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Mr. Gocek served as a Congressional Intern for Rep. Susan Davis in Washington, D.C.
