Daniel P. Joyce concentrates his practice in legal services related to business, immigration and cross-border matters.  He has extensive experience with business visas, family visas, green cards, naturalization and waivers.  Mr. Joyce also handles legal aspects involved in business transactions for U.S. and Canadian transportation companies, including U.S. operating authority and other regulatory matters, business start-ups, and state and federal taxation.  As a member of the Firm's Intellectual Property practice group, he advises companies on the protection of proprietary information, trade names and trademarks.

Experience:

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Joyce was partner and co-founder of the law firm of Hirsch & Joyce and had previously served as partner at Saperston & Day, P.C.  He was a part-time faculty member of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Management for nearly twenty years, teaching business law courses at both the undergraduate and graduate (MBA) levels.  Mr. Joyce has served as a panelist and presenter at numerous seminars and conferences on behalf of the Intellectual Property and Corporation Law committees of the Erie County Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, as well as at seminars presented to law firm clients.
