Steven J. Ricca
Steven J. Ricca is a partner in the Firm's Environmental and Economic and Land Development practice groups. Mr. Ricca's practice focuses on land use planning and the environmental review procedures arising under the State Environmental Quality Review Act and National Environmental Policy Act. He has coordinated the preparation of complex environmental impact statements with zoning and other local, state and federal approval processes and has appeared in numerous public hearings on land development projects. In the courtroom, Mr. Ricca has also successfully defended and opposed industrial and commercial projects for clients in the public and private sectors. His practice has also included and commercial environmental litigation as well as regulatory compliance and enforcement matters, particularly for the petroleum and chemical manufacturing industries. Mr. Ricca has successfully handled numerous petroleum spill cost recovery cases. Mr. Ricca is a frequent lecturer on environmental topics, and has written various articles in Business First of Buffalo and other publications.
