Jaeckle Fleischmann Publishes Firm History Entitled The Merging Of Titans By Edward Cuddihy

BUFFALO, NEW YORK - Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP, a law firm with offices in Buffalo, Amherst and Rochester, New York and Phoenix, Arizona, announces the publication of The Merging of Titans, a book chronicling the Firm's history. Edward Cuddihy, retired managing editor of The Buffalo News, was commissioned by the Firm to write the book documenting its legacy and the important role that prominent partners played in the politics of their era. 

"This book was written to accurately chronicle the unique history of the Firm and its founders, who played such an important part in the history of the 20th century,"  said Randall Odza, Partner who spearheaded the project. "Our Firm has a rich past and we wanted to share it with the future generation of lawyers that will carry the Jaeckle Fleischmann tradition forward in the practice of law," said Edward Piwowarczyk, Managing Partner.

Edward Cuddihy, author of The Merging of Titans, is a native of Buffalo who worked at The Buffalo News as a reporter, city editor, assistant managing editor and managing editor. He retired in 2005 after spending 43 years with The Buffalo News. Cuddihy also is co-author of On The Canal, a South Buffalo Marine's story set during World War II. He has traveled extensively in western Europe as well as to historical sites in the United States. In researching the firm?s heritage, Cuddihy and his wife, Irene E. Cuddihy, Ph.D., reviewed several hundred articles from newspapers in Buffalo, Washington, New York and Chicago, as well as from national magazines, and examined Historical Society documents and family records relating to the founders going back more than 75 years. Cuddihy currently reviews non-fiction and writes occasional travel stories for The Buffalo News.
