Beiter will be recognized by the Greater Niagara Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts. Mr. Beiter will be presented with the Silver Beaver award at the annual volunteer awards dinner on Sunday, April 27th , 2008 in recognition of his dedication and volunteer efforts. The Silver Beaver Award is the council-level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America . Recipients of this award are registered adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council. The Silver Beaver is an award given to those who implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self sacrifice, dedication, and many years of service. It is given to those who do not actively seek it. Sean Beiter has served as the Council President for the Greater Niagara Frontier Council since April 2007. Mr. Beiter was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout in 1983 and has served in volunteered with Cub Pack 202 at St. Amelia Church in Tonawanda, New York in roles such as Den Leader and Cubmaster from 1996 to present. He has served as a member of the Council's Executive Board since 2000. In 2005, Mr. Beiter and his wife Angel served as Co-Chairs for the Akela's Anniversary Bash for the 75th Anniversary of Cub Scouting. In 2004, Mr. Beiter received the District Award of Merit from the GNFC, and he is a three time chairperson of the Greater Niagara Frontier Council, Boy Scouts of America Scouter Citizen of the Year (SCOTY) golf tournament. Mr. Beiter was named one of Business First of Buffalo's 40 Under Forty award winners for 2005, he has been named to Business First of Buffalo's Who's Who in the Law in 2007, and he is listed in the publication Best Lawyers in America. He is a graduate of Leadership Buffalo Class of 2002. He also serves as Vice President to the Board of Directors at St.Amelia School, Cubmaster of Cub Scout Pack 202 and is a Vice President of the Labor and Employment Relations Association of Western New York. Mr. Beiter is a partner at Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP and serves as Administrator of the Firm's Labor and Employment practice group and is the Chair of the Firm's Practice Committee. His practice includes the representation of employers in collective bargaining, contract administration and employment discrimination law. He has experience representing employers in both Federal and State Court practice, as well as experience before the New York State Court of Appeals, the Appellate Division of the State of New York, the National Labor Relations Board, the New York State Public Employment Relations Board, the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Human Rights Division, in disciplinary proceedings, and in contract grievance arbitration. Mr. Beiter is married to Angel Beiter, Vice President of Finance for AirSep Corporation, and also a volunteer Scout leader. The couple resides together in Amherst, New York with their four sons: Patrick, Andrew, Ryan, and Daniel. The Beiters are members of the Park Country Club of Buffalo.
