Heath J. Szymczak to Serve on New York State Bar Torts and Insurance Executive Committee

BUFFALO, NEWYORK - Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP, a law firm with offices in Buffalo, Amherst and Rochester, New York and Phoenix, Arizona, is pleased to announce that partner Heath J.  Szymczak has been selected to serve as the Chair of the New York State Bar Association's Business Torts and Employment Litigation Committee of the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section. In this capacity, he will also serve as a member of the Executive Committee for the Section.

            Mr. Szymczak is a partner in the Firm's Litigation practice group and concentrates his practice in business related torts, complex commercial litigation and other civil litigation. He currently serves as Vice President of the Board of the Buffalo Alliance for Education, is a member of the Bennett High School Law Magnet Advisory Council, and serves as an attorney coach for the Bennett Mock Trial Team. Mr. Szymczak also serves on the Board of the Canisius College Alumni Association and is a member of the Canisius College Pre-Law Advisory Council. He was named to Business First of Buffalo's "40 under 40" list for 2007 and is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Buffalo. He is also a past recipient of the Business First of Buffalo's "Pathfinder's Award", the "Distinguished Service Award for Law-Related Education"from the New York State Bar Association, was named an "Up and Coming Attorney"by The Daily Record, and has received a "Community Leader Award" from the Mayor of the City of Buffalo for his involvement with the Buffalo Schools. He is a member of the Erie County, Wyoming County and New York State Bar Associations, as well as the American Inns of Court, DiGamma, Alpha Sigma Nu, and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International. Mr. Szymczak practices from the Firm's Buffalo office.
