Heath Szymczak Appointed National Co-Chair of American Bar Association Business Torts Litigation Sub Committee

            BUFFALO, NEW YORK — Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Heath J. Szymczak has been appointed a national co-chair of the Tortious Interference Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Business Torts Litigation Committee (Litigation Section). Mr. Szymczak will also serve as a contributor and editor for the next edition of the ABA’s Business Torts handbook which is scheduled for publication in 2013.

The American Bar Association is the world’s largest voluntary professional organization, with nearly 400,000 members and more than 3,500 entities.  Founded in 1878, the ABA is committed to supporting the legal profession with practical resources for legal professionals while improving the administration of justice, accrediting law schools, establishing model ethical codes, and more. 

Heath J. Szymczak is Administrator of the Firm's Litigation practice group. He has extensive litigation experience in business related torts, complex commercial litigation, and other civil litigation, including, among other areas, contractual disputes, unfair competition claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, class action consumer litigation, healthcare network provider disputes, products liability defense, personal injury defense, insurance fraud, and insurance coverage disputes. He currently serves as State-Wide Chair of the Business Torts and Employment Litigation Committee (TICL Section) of the New York State Bar Association.
