Larry Meckler to Moderate Panel on Economic Development
at Buffalo Niagara Partnership Conference
 
            BUFFALO, NEW YORK — Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel,a full service corporate law firm, announces that Larry Meckler will serve as a panel moderator on the topic of "What Motivates Us – The unique conditions in NYC and Upstate,” at the Accelerate Upstate conference presented by the Buffalo Niagara Partnership. The panel sessionisscheduled for Thursday, August 4th at 1:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo.  The discussion will focus on policy strategies to meet the needs of both New York City and Upstate. Fellow panelists will include Brian Sampson, Executive Director, Unshackle Upstate; Kathy Wylde,  President & CEO, Partnership for NYC; E.J. McMahon, Senior Fellow, Manhattan Institute; and Amy Allen, Managing Director, The Westchester County Association.

            Larry Meckler serves as Of Counsel with the Firm, concentrating his practice on legal services related to Business and Corporate, Labor and Employment and Economic & Land Development matters. He joined Jaeckle Fleischmann after a 34-year career with the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority. He began his career as Counsel in the Authority's Legal Department, and also served as General Manager for the Authority's Metro Construction Division where he oversaw the completion of the $540 million Buffalo Light Rail Rapid Transit project. As the Authority's General Counsel, he served as Chief Legal Officer and represented the Authority in all legal matters before federal, state and local government agencies.
